Pakistan has strongly condemned 'reprehensible' drone attacks on Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline, which was shut down after the aerial assault. The attack originated in Iraq and temporarily closed the vital oil conduit, threatening to send energy prices even higher.

The Foreign Office of Pakistan released a statement expressing its unwavering support for Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and prosperity. It reiterated solidarity with the leadership, government, and people of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that such attacks pose a serious threat to regional peace, security, and stability.

Saudi crude supply fell to the lowest levels in over three decades due to attacks on ships transiting Bab el-Mandeb by Houthi-linked groups. The attack resulted in some injuries and damage to the pipeline, with the Saudi Foreign Ministry stating that it reserves the right to 'take all measures necessary' to protect its interests.
