Drone Strike Hits LNG Carrier at Egyptian Port
A drone attack on an LNG carrier at Damietta Port in Egypt's Mediterranean coast has been reported, with no casualties and fires now contained.
The incident occurred on July 29 when a US-owned liquefied natural gas floating storage and regasification unit was struck by a drone.
According to ChosunBiz, the resulting fire spread to a nearby vessel, but the crew evacuated safely, and the blaze was reportedly extinguished.
