Drones Hit US-Owned LNG Ship in Egypt's Damietta Port

Unidentified drones attacked a US-owned liquefied natural gas (LNG) ship in Egypt's Damietta port on the Mediterranean coast. The incident also damaged another ship and a gas loading terminal.

The Egyptian Oil Ministry reported that a fire broke out on the LNG tanker and a storage ship but was quickly contained, with no casualties or injuries.

Firefighting operations were carried out based on crisis management and rapid response plans, according to the ministry.
