DTM Boosts LEAP Capacity as Permian Gas Flows East
DT Midstream has sanctioned a fifth expansion of its Louisiana Energy Access Project (LEAP), which will add another 200 million cubic feet per day to the system. This move is part of DTM's efforts to capture Permian Basin natural gas headed eastward towards Gulf Coast demand.
The expansion, known as LEAP Phase 5, will increase Haynesville Shale volumes to a record 2.2 billion cubic feet per day. Additionally, the Carthage hub in East Texas is drawing eastbound Permian supply, further solidifying DTM's position in the region.
