DTS, a South Korean manufacturer of air-cooled heat exchangers, is expanding its presence in the US liquefied natural gas (LNG) market. The company aims to secure $360 million in sales within the next decade by strengthening its local agents and building relationships with LNG plant engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms.

The shift into the US market is driven by growing demand for diversified supply sources amid instability in the Middle East and rising power demand from the spread of artificial intelligence data centers. DTS CEO Kim Joong-il stated that the company's proprietary thermal management technology has allowed it to accumulate a track record in overseas projects, including the Golden Pass LNG in the US.

DTS plans to lean on its cost competitiveness and an in-house project management system to compete with global players in the market. The company also aims to expand into waste-heat power generation systems (ORC) and cooling for AI data centers, targeting 300 billion won in revenue within five years and 500 billion won within ten years.
