Dubai's gold market experienced a slight dip in prices over the past month, but remained largely stable. The price of 24K gold dropped by just Dh2 per gram to Dh491.75 at the market open on Friday.

The other variants, such as 22K, 21K, 18K, and 14K, followed a similar trend with prices ranging from Dh455.50 to Dh292 per gram. Globally, spot gold was down 0.51% to $4,080 per ounce while silver fell 0.29% to $58.64 per ounce.

The World Gold Council's Q2 report highlighted the resilience of global gold demand despite softer prices. Total demand remained unchanged year-on-year at 1,269 tonnes, with a value reaching a record $380 billion in the first half of 2026.
