Dubai Gold Prices Surge Amid Global Market Volatility

Dubai's gold prices continued their upward trend on Monday morning, rising by Dh1.25 per gram for 24-karat and Dh1 for 22-karat varieties.

The current rate for 24-karat gold stands at Dh488.50 per gram, while the 22-karat rate is at Dh452.25 per gram.

This increase marks a continuation of the price rise seen in July, with the 24-karat variety gaining Dh3.25 per gram and the 22-karat variety increasing by Dh3 per gram during the first three days of August.

The volatility in gold prices during July was significant, with the 24-karat rate falling to as low as Dh481.50 on July 16 and 17 before recovering to Dh500.75 on July 22.
