Dynacor Posts Strong Q2 Results Amid Gold Price Decline
Dynacor Group Inc., the Canadian gold processor, has released its unaudited financial and operational results for Q2-2026. The company's President and CEO, Daniel Misiano, said that 'our Q2-2026 results reflect both strong execution and a transformative step forward in achieving our near-term expansion strategy.'
The company processed 48,300 tonnes of ore, its highest quarterly throughput, and produced 31,907 gold-equivalent ounces. Sales reached $144.4 million, the second-highest quarterly sales.
However, the sharp decline in gold pricing from $4,700/oz to about $4,000/oz at quarter-end affected Dynacor's financial performance. The company reported a gross margin of $5.6 million and EBITDA of $3.2 million, including $0.3 million in non-recurring expenses.
Additionally, the company is dealing with tax contingencies in Peru, where its subsidiary challenged a tax assessment made by the Peruvian Tax Administration for the 2015 fiscal year. The maximum aggregate amount of Dynacor's exposure is $8.7 million.
