Ecora Royalties Sees 75% Portfolio Contribution Surge on Critical Minerals Shift
Ecora Royalties, a company listed on both the London Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker ECOR, has reported its H1 2026 financial results. The company's strategic pivot to focus on critical minerals, particularly copper, has driven significant growth in its portfolio contribution.
The report highlights that Ecora's portfolio contribution reached $31.3 million in H1 2026, a 75% increase from the same period in 2025. This growth is largely attributed to the base metals segment, which saw a 159% year-over-year increase to $22.5 million.
Voisey's Bay contributed significantly, with a contribution of $16.6 million, up from $5.1 million in H1 2025. The company received 266 tons of attributable cobalt and maintained full-year guidance of 500-560 tons. Cobalt prices also strengthened, with realized prices of $28.50 per pound compared to $16.50 a year earlier.
Ecora's balance sheet has also improved, with total royalty assets standing at $563.7 million at June 30, 2026. The company's net debt declined to $74.9 million, and the leverage ratio improved to 1.35x from 2.07x at December 31, 2025.
