Egypt Secures Gas Supplies Amid Record Electricity Demand

Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, recently inspected the National Natural Gas Grid Control Center at the Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO) headquarters.

The visit aimed to follow up on natural gas supplies and regular flow to various sectors, including power generation plants and industrial facilities.

Badawi praised the efficiency of petroleum sector employees in securing domestic market needs for natural gas and petroleum products during the summer peak period.

The minister noted that proactive planning and coordination between the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy enabled Egypt to manage unprecedented energy demand efficiently.
