Egypt Vows Solidarity with Saudi Arabia After Red Sea Oil Tanker Attack

Egypt has reaffirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia following an attack on a Saudi oil tanker in the Red Sea, strongly condemning the assault and rejecting all attacks targeting civilian infrastructure.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt underscored the importance of protecting freedom of navigation through international straits and waterways, particularly in the Red Sea.

The ministry emphasized that such protections are essential for safeguarding global trade flows and supply chains according to international law and the UN Charter.
