ELCEN To Temporarily Shut Off Gas Supply to Grozăvești Power Plant on Monday

ELCEN announced that it will temporarily stop supplying natural gas to the Grozăvești power plant on Monday. The interruption, scheduled from 09:00 to 15:00, is necessary for maintenance work to replace the gas diaphragm at the plant.

The six-hour shutdown has been planned outside peak consumption hours, when demand for hot water is low, to minimize the impact on consumers. ELCEN stated that it chose this period based on the weather forecast, which predicts high temperatures of over 30 degrees Celsius, to reduce thermal discomfort for the population.
