Elicit Plant's EliTerra Platform Wins Top Climate Adaptation Award

Elicit Plant has earned top honors in the AgTech Breakthrough Awards for its groundbreaking climate adaptation solution, the EliTerra platform.

The French enterprise's exclusive phytosterol-based technology primes plants for environmental stress ahead of time, rather than reacting after damage occurs. This approach boosts water-use efficiency by 20% while preserving growth and yield levels, according to the company.

Elicit Plant's foliar treatments are applied to key field crops like corn, wheat, barley, sunflower, and soybean, with over 1,000 field trials validating its effectiveness across diverse regions and climatic conditions. The technology has been implemented on more than 2 million acres in Europe, North America, and South America.

Growers using the EliTerra system have seen yield gains of up to 10% in water-limited scenarios, with an average return on investment of at least 2.5 times, Elicit Plant reports.
