Enbridge Partners with KKR to Fund $2.7B Pipeline Expansion

Enbridge has partnered with KKR and Apollo to invest $2.7 billion in the expansion of its Westcoast natural gas pipeline system in British Columbia.

The joint venture will fund two projects: Aspen Point, which is expected to add 535 million cubic feet per day of new transportation capacity after entering service in 2026, and Sunrise, which will increase capacity by 300 mmcf/d in late 2028.

Enbridge will retain majority ownership and operational control of the pipeline, while receiving $700 million in cash at closing.
