Enbridge Stock Attractive at Current Prices Despite Oil Price Surge

Oil prices have surged to around $100 a barrel due to the intensified conflict in the Middle East, leading some investors to buy energy stocks. However, Enbridge (TSX: ENB) is not your typical energy stock.

As one of North America's major energy infrastructure companies, Enbridge generates most of its revenue through long-term, regulated contracts and fee-based services. Its pipelines and other infrastructure continue to transport oil and natural gas, providing relatively stable cash flows even when commodity prices are highly volatile.

The company's diversified operations and strong dividend track record make it an attractive investment opportunity, according to analysts. Enbridge has been paying dividends for more than 70 years and has increased its dividend every year since 1995, currently offering a yield of over 5.6%.

With a $39 billion backlog of secured capital projects and a solid medium- to long-term growth outlook, Enbridge is well-positioned to continue creating value for shareholders through dividend increases and share price appreciation.
