Energocom Delivers 86,450 MWh Natural Gas at Average Price of 50.12 euros/MWh
Energocom, Moldova's state-owned energy company, has announced its natural gas procurement strategy for last July. The company delivered 86,450 MWh of natural gas to the market at a weighted average price of 50.12 euros/MWh at the entry point into Moldova.
The volumes were sourced from forward contracts awarded in auctions organized in 2025 and partially from the spot market. Forward contracts ensure deliveries on agreed dates with prices set as a weighted average of daily average prices in the previous month.
Energocom's procurement strategy links prices offered by suppliers to the evolution of the main European natural gas index, the Title Transfer Facility (TTF) from the Netherlands. Specific costs for transport, capacity, and other services are also added to determine the final price.
