Energocom Secures August Natural Gas at €57.80 per MWh
Energocom, the Moldovan energy company, has finalized its natural gas purchases for August at €57.80 per MWh.
The purchase price includes logistics costs required to deliver the gas to the Republic of Moldova and is equivalent to around 9.37 million cubic meters.
The company notes that it uses forward contracts, which ensure deliveries on a set date with a price determined by the weighted average of previous month prices, to avoid additional costs associated with transportation and storage in neighboring countries.
Energocom's procurement process considers not only exchange prices but also total delivery costs, making it possible to identify the most advantageous offers available on the market.
