Energy Midstream Stocks Set for Growth on WTI Rally and LNG Expansion
The midstream energy sector is experiencing growth and increased income potential due to rising WTI crude prices and expanding US LNG export capacity. Three companies stand out for their strong performance, record volumes, and distribution increases: Enterprise Products Partners (EPD), Energy Transfer (ET), and Enbridge (ENB).
Enterprise Products Partners (NYSE:EPD) reported a 21% year-over-year increase in operational DCF to $2.3 billion in Q2 2026, providing 1.9x coverage of its cash distribution. The partnership has $6.5 billion in organic growth projects under construction, including an LPG export terminal expansion on the Houston Ship Channel expected online by year-end 2026.
Energy Transfer (NYSE:ET) reported strong Q2 earnings with EPS of $0.59 topping the consensus estimate, a 60.41% beat. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $5.07 billion, up 31% YoY. Management raised full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to $18.8 billion to $19.1 billion.
Enbridge (NYSE:ENB), a Canadian corporation, reported Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.63, beating the consensus estimate by 5.63%. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $4.78 billion, and DCF reached $2.95 billion. Management reaffirmed 2026 guidance of C$20.2 billion to C$20.8 billion adjusted EBITDA.
