Equinor and Uniper have signed a 15-year agreement to supply natural gas to Germany. Under this deal, Equinor will deliver over 30 TWh (2.8 billion cubic meters) of gas per year to Uniper from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2041.

The gas will be delivered at the Trading Hub Europe in Germany, and pricing will reflect market terms. Other commercial details remain confidential between the parties.

Equinor's President and CEO, Anders Opedal, said this agreement demonstrates the strong demand for reliable long-term gas supplies from the Norwegian continental shelf, which has a lower carbon footprint than alternative gas sources.
