Ero Copper Soars 11.13% on Record Copper Prices and Strong Q2 Results
Ero Copper (TSX:ERO) stock rose by an impressive 11.13% on strong market conditions, making it one of the notable Canadian mining stocks in focus.
The copper price surge to a record high above US$14,500 per tonne is a major catalyst for Ero's growth. Tightening mine supply, trade uncertainty, and robust structural demand have driven up copper prices, benefiting established producers like Ero.
In its Q2 2026 results, Ero reported 17,315 tonnes of copper production, with operating cash flow increasing by approximately 49% quarter-over-quarter to US$137.9 million. The company maintained its 2026 consolidated copper production guidance of 67,500-77,500 tonnes, expecting stronger production in the second half of the year.
The Furnas Copper-Gold Project is also gaining attention, with drilling continuing to demonstrate high-grade continuity and resource expansion potential. Ero's upcoming Capital Markets Day on September 14 will provide investors with additional insights into its growth strategy and project pipeline.
