Errea Wittu Arrives Off Guyana Coast Ahead of Uaru Installation
The Errea Wittu floating production, storage and offloading vessel has arrived off Guyana's coast ahead of its installation at ExxonMobil's Uaru development. VesselFinder data showed that the vessel was positioned off Guyana's coast on August 19, with an estimated arrival time of 10 a.m. that day.
The Errea Wittu is expected to become the fifth FPSO supporting oil production offshore Guyana and will be installed approximately 200 kilometers offshore at the Uaru development in the Stabroek Block. This installation marks a significant milestone for the project, which targets more than 800 million barrels of recoverable oil.
The Errea Wittu has been designed to produce 250,000 barrels of oil per day and process 540 million cubic feet of associated gas daily. Its production capacity is expected to push Guyana's total oil output beyond one million barrels per day after the Uaru project begins production, scheduled before the end of 2026.
