Ethanol Boom Hits Minnesota, Barefoot Skiers Soar to New Heights

The Central Minn. Ethanol Co-op in Little Falls is a leading producer of ethanol in Minnesota, processing 21,000 bushels of corn per day to produce 21 million gallons of ethanol annually.

John Lynn and his sister Renee, both barefoot skiing enthusiasts, won state junior overall barefoot titles and placed top four in national competition on Gilbert Lake.

The Brainerd Community College's $24.7 million project is complete, with a little money left over for the first year it's being used by students.
