ETYFA Launches Tender for Vasilikos LNG Terminal Completion

The Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA) has finally launched a tender to complete the Vasilikos LNG terminal project in Cyprus.

This comes two years after Chinese contractor CPP's contract was unilaterally terminated on July 18, 2024, despite winning the original 2019 tender.

The new tender follows a restricted procedure and includes a prequalification stage for interested contractors. Those who submit an application will be invited to submit a full technical and financial offer if they are prequalified.

The estimated value of the remaining works at Vasilikos is €180 million, with the construction contract's duration expected to last two years.
