European Oil Prices Soar Amid Middle East Conflict
Oil prices in Europe have seen a sudden spike following the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. According to recent announcements, oil is currently priced at 1.79 eurocent per litre for both today and tomorrow. Gasoline is priced at 1.53 eurocent per litre, while gas stands at 0.22 cents per litre.
The price of oil has increased from its previous level of 779 euros-cent yesterday, despite a brief decline in the days following the conflict's start on February 28th. The conflict began with US and Israeli attacks on Iran, prompting retaliatory strikes by Iran against Israel and the US-aligned states in the Persian Gulf, as well as the closure of the Hormuz Strait, a critical oil transportation route.
