Everest Metals Races Clock as Gold Nears Records in Western Australia
Everest Metals Corporation (ASX:EMC) has begun hauling gold-silver ore at its Mt Dimer Taipan project in Western Australia's Yilgarn goldfields. The company aims to transform a small resource into a cash generator, betting on speed to revenue with gold prices at historic levels.
The bull case leans heavily on flawless execution and the non-dilutive funding model struck with contractor MEGA Resources. Everest is relying on toll-treatment at a third-party mill near Kalgoorlie, but faces risks such as queueing, throughput, and recovery outside its control.
The company's resource stands at 722,000 tonnes grading 2.10 grams per tonne gold for 48,545 ounces, with recent grade-control drilling returning encouraging intercepts. Management has flagged an updated mineral resource estimate targeted for the third quarter of 2026.
Everest is not a single-asset story, holding multiple interests including Revere gold and base-metal project and Mt Edon critical-minerals project. The company's optionality across gold, silver, base metals, and critical minerals in a tier-one jurisdiction stretches its small balance sheet across multiple fronts.
