Excelerate Terminal Resumes Gas Supply After Three-Day Shutdown
The Excelerate Energy LNG terminal at Maheshkhali in Cox's Bazar has resumed gas supply to the national grid after a three-day shutdown.
According to officials, the imported gas supply rose by 106 million cubic feet between noon and 6pm on Saturday.
Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company Ltd (RPGCL) officials said that the terminal resumed supply using LNG already in its storage.
Petrbangla Chairman Abdul Mannan stated that an LNG cargo was scheduled to arrive on Sunday, but it arrived a day ahead of schedule, prompting the terminal to start supplying gas to the national grid on Saturday.
