Expand Energy Beats Expectations with Strong Q2 CY2026 Results

Natural gas producer Expand Energy (NASDAQ:EXE) exceeded revenue expectations in its Q2 CY2026 results, reporting $2.96 billion in sales, a 5.4% year-on-year growth.

This beat Wall Street's estimates by 49.1%, with non-GAAP profit of $1.33 per share, 19.1% above analysts' consensus estimates.

Expand Energy's Interim President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Wichterich said the company has been focused on two key initiatives: executing with discipline and accelerating its marketing and commercial strategy.

The company's adjusted EBITDA margin was 40%, down from 45.2% in Q2 CY2025, while its free cash flow margin averaged 15.2% over the last five years, a sign of robust cash profitability.
