Expand Energy Earnings Loom Amid $1.25 Billion Acquisition

Expand Energy Corp is set to report its second-quarter earnings on Tuesday after announcing a $1.25 billion acquisition of Twin Eagle Holdings, a natural gas marketing business.

The company's largest natural gas producer in North America is expected to post earnings of $1.15 per share on revenue of $3.06 billion for the quarter ended June, representing a sharp sequential decline from the first quarter's $3.83 per share on revenue of $4.39 billion.

Despite this, Wall Street maintains a bullish stance on Expand Energy, with 20 out of 26 analysts covering the stock rating it a buy and a mean price target of $124.24, implying 37% upside from the current price of $90.51.
