Expert Sees Volatility Ahead for Livestock and Grain Markets
The Livestock and Grain Markets have been volatile in recent weeks, according to an experienced financial expert. In a series of trade examples sent out before the markets opened, the expert emphasized their bullish views on Soybean Oil, expecting much lower grain prices going into this Friday's WASDE Report.
The expert also expressed concerns about the Cattle Markets, predicting lower prices by the end of the week, particularly with the stock market breaking and crude oil heading higher. They recommended selling into any market strength until a bottom is found in the Cattle Markets, expecting the October'26 Feeder Cattle to trade down to 306.00 or lower.
The expert highlighted the potential for significant crop damage and yield decline in Southern Asia due to the lack of monsoon rains, affecting Oilseed, Palm Oil, and Sugar crops. They also mentioned problems with the Brazilian Sugar harvest. The expert believes a supply and demand problem will emerge worldwide in the fourth quarter, recommending getting long both Soybean Oil and Sugar #11 contracts in the Option Markets now.
