The vessel, flagged under the Marshall Islands, was not immediately identified as the cause of the blast or damage it sustained.

Martime risk firm Ambrey reported the incident, stating that local authorities responded promptly to bring the situation under control.

No casualties were reported, and the vessels involved in the incident were safely relocated outside the port area.
