ExxonMobil Earnings Surge but Miss Market Estimates

ExxonMobil's quarterly earnings have more than doubled to $14.52 billion in the second quarter of 2026, but failed to meet market expectations.

The American oil group reported a 42.41% increase in revenue, reaching $116.08 billion between April and June, up from $81.51 billion a year earlier.

Despite missing estimates, ExxonMobil's chief executive officer Darren Woods highlighted the company's ability to generate cash and implement its strategic plan, despite disruptions caused by the conflict in the Middle East.
