ExxonMobil Surpasses Q2 Revenue Projections with $116 Billion

ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) reported quarterly revenue that exceeded Wall Street's expectations in Q2 CY2026. The energy company's sales jumped by 42.3% year on year to $116 billion, outperforming analyst estimates of $108.6 billion.

The increase marked a significant beat, with ExxonMobil surpassing expectations by 6.8%. However, its GAAP profit of $3.48 per share fell short of analysts' consensus estimates by 2.7%.

ExxonMobil's operating margin rose to 16.9%, up from 13.3% in the same quarter last year. Free cash flow margin also improved, reaching 14.7%, a significant increase from 6.5% in the same period.

The company's oil production increased by 3.5% year on year, while its market capitalization stood at $650.6 billion as of Q2 CY2026.
