Fall Fun in Calgary: Pumpkin Patches, Ghost Tours, and More
This fall in Calgary offers a variety of fun activities that won't break the bank. From pumpkin patches to spooky ghost tours, there's something for everyone.
The Calgary Farmyard is hosting its annual Fall Days event from September 11 to October 25, featuring pumpkin picking, a corn maze, wagon rides, and animal encounters all for under $40 per person.
For a more magical experience, the farm will be illuminated with thousands of lights on Friday and Saturday evenings starting September 12. Visitors can enjoy the regular attractions in a new light, including taking on the corn maze at night for an extra challenge.
Other fall festivities include a night market at the Shawnessy Barn on September 11, featuring local artisans, food trucks, and live music; Pumpkins After Dark at Winsport from September 25 to October 31, with illuminated pumpkin displays and seasonal treats; and Phil in the Park, where the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a free concert at Prince's Island Park on September 13.
The Night Light celebration in Victoria Park on September 24, 25, and 26 will feature over 40 art installations, including interactive displays and live performances. Visitors can also join a ghost tour to explore Calgary's haunted streets, with prices ranging from $26.
