Fed Decision Boosts Gold Prices Amid Geopolitical Tensions
The Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates unchanged has led to a rebound in gold and silver prices. Gold futures surged to an intraday high of $4,115, while silver reached $59.40 per troy ounce.
Geopolitical tensions also influenced market movements, with the U.S. President Donald Trump stating that Iran would 'get a beating' following attacks on U.S. forces. This led to a surge in Brent crude prices, rising 7.5% or $6.15 to $88.13 per barrel.
