Fountain Hills Gas Prices Hit Record High in August

Gas prices in Fountain Hills have seen an increase of 2 cents per gallon over the past week, according to AAA Arizona. The average price has settled at $4.44 a gallon.

The spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group, Aldo Vazquez, attributed the rise to crude oil prices, stating that 'While gasoline demand is down, crude oil prices are keeping pump prices higher than normal for this time of year.'

This August has seen record-high national gasoline averages, with the current price at $4.07 a gallon. In Arizona, gas prices rose by 4 cents to sit at $4.40 a gallon.
