Fremont Gold Property Sees NPV Jump by 101% with Stormlands Model
Lode Gold Resources (TSXV: LOD) has seen its Fremont gold property in Mariposa County, California, receive a significant boost to its net present value (NPV). According to Stormlands Mining's model, which uses the project's 2026 technical report, the NPV jumps by 101% to $511.5 million after applying current gold prices.
The property, located around 240 kilometers from San Francisco and covering about 13.56 square kilometers, has a rich history of gold production. A historical mine on the site graded 10.7 grams of gold per short ton before being suspended in the 1930s. Lode is currently conducting exploration drilling to advance towards a pre-feasibility study (PFS) expected in 2027.
Stormlands CEO Róisín O’Connell highlighted that Fremont demonstrates what can be achieved when technical reports are treated as raw material for decision intelligence, rather than the final product. It is essential to note that Stormlands' model does not replace the engineering, cost work, and risk analysis required for a full preliminary economic assessment (PEA).
