Fresnillo Revenue Surges 74.7% on Higher Silver, Gold Prices
Fresnillo's revenue soared by 74.7% year-over-year to $3.38 billion in the first half of 2026, driven mainly by higher silver and gold prices.
The Mexico-focused precious metals miner attributed this significant increase to a 134.4% rise in average realised silver price to $78.90 per ounce and a 47.3% jump in average realised gold price to $4,666.80 per ounce.
However, Fresnillo's attributable silver production decreased by 11.4% year-over-year to 22 million ounces due to various factors such as the end of Silverstream's contribution and lower ore grades at some mines.
The company maintains its full-year 2026 production guidance, with expected attributable silver production ranging between 42 million and 46.5 million ounces, gold production between 500,000 oz and 550,000 oz, and lead production between 54,000 t and 59,000 t.
