Fuel Prices Steady in India Amid Global Crude Price Surge
Fuel prices in India remained steady on September 5, despite Brent crude rising by 7.6% this week due to escalating tensions between the US and Iran.
The state-run Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) revised fuel prices daily at 6:00 AM, maintaining the current rates as India follows a dynamic fuel price method.
This is the third consecutive month that domestic fuel retailers have kept commodity prices stable despite volatility in global energy prices.
Brent crude gained nearly 10% this week, with its global benchmark rising to $92.68 a barrel and US crude increasing by 0.20% to $91.48 a barrel.
