Futures Markets See Mixed Results on August 21
The Chicago Board of Trade reported mixed results for futures markets on Friday, August 21. Corn and soybean futures saw increases, while wheat and cattle futures experienced declines.
Corn futures rose by $4 to $4.83 for September contracts and $4 to $5.08 for December contracts.
Soybean futures also rose, with September contracts increasing by $5 to $12.25 and November contracts up by $3 to $12.40.
However, wheat futures saw a decrease, with September contracts dropping by a quarter to $6.83, while December contracts remained steady at $7.00.
Live cattle futures declined, with October contracts down by $10 at $217.90 and December contracts up by $10 at $218.37.
