GAIL Bolsters India's Energy Security with Diversified LNG Portfolio
GAIL, India's major natural gas company, is strengthening the country's energy security through its diversified liquefied natural gas (LNG) portfolio. On Independence Day, Chairman and Managing Director Deepak Gupta highlighted the role of energy in supporting India's economic growth and national development.
Gupta emphasized that GAIL's LNG portfolio is helping to reinforce India's energy resilience amid changing global dynamics and growing geopolitical challenges. The company has operations spanning natural gas transmission, gas marketing, LNG, petrochemicals, and other segments of the gas value chain.
The CMD also underscored the importance of reliable energy availability for economic development, stating that 'energy is not just a business, it is the foundation of a nation's progress.' He added that GAIL is an important partner in India's nation-building journey.
