Gas Prices Continue to Climb Amid Ongoing Middle East Tensions
The average price of gas has risen again overnight to $4.08 per gallon, according to motor club AAA.
This marks a 92-cent increase from this time last year.
Brent crude prices have also climbed 24 cents to $87.31 per barrel early Friday, while U.S. benchmark crude rose almost 1% to $81.83.
The volatility of energy prices is causing difficulties for businesses and households in budgeting for gasoline and shipping due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
