Gas Prices Fall in Nevada as Crude Oil Costs Decline
Nevada gas prices have dropped due to lower crude oil prices. According to AAA Nevada, the average cost of a gallon of gas in the state is now $4.78, down three cents from last week.
The decrease in crude oil prices has also led to optimism that the Strait of Hormuz will resume normal operations, which could further contribute to lower gas prices.
Despite this drop, Nevadans are still paying about $1.03 more per gallon than they were at this point in 2025, according to Doug Johnson, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group.
The average cost of a gallon of gas varies across different cities, with Reno averaging $5.10 and Las Vegas averaging $4.78.
