Gas South Aims to be Top Performer in Vietnam's Gas Market
Southern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company (Gas South), a Vietnam-based publicly listed gas company, has outlined its priorities for 2026 following the approval of its plans at the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
The company aims to be the fastest growing in terms of output, with a professional distribution system, and become a highly recommended and trusted brand with a loyal customer base. To achieve this goal, Gas South will focus on operational efficiency in LPG operations while advancing CNG and preparing for LNG development to support Vietnam's evolving energy needs.
In 2025, the company recorded an LPG sales volume of 205,886 tonnes, exceeding its annual target by 4.8%. Revenue reached VND 6,427.86 billion, with a profit before tax of VND 141.75 billion, surpassing the company's plan by 0.8%. The company also reported a profit after tax of over VND 115 billion and total assets exceeding VND 2,553 billion.
Gas South operates four LPG warehouses, 17 LPG filling stations, and has a nationwide network of over 1,300 agents and general agents. The company is preparing to expand its LNG offering as part of its longer-term energy portfolio.
