Getty Copper Expands Deposit with Near-Surface Intercepts
Getty Copper Inc., a copper explorer based in British Columbia, has released its second batch of assay results from the 2026 spring program at the Getty Project. The results show that the company has hit near-surface intercepts with grades starting just meters below surface.
The company's drill results have validated and grown the deposit, expanding mineralization by 60 meters beyond prior limits. Key intercepts include 69 meters of 0.90% copper and 117 meters of 0.68% copper.
Global copper demand is accelerating due to data centers, defense spending, and clean energy infrastructure. The company plans up to 5,000 meters of additional drilling in fall 2026, focused on both resource growth and new district targets.
