Ghalibaf Dares US: Retaliate and We'll Hit Back
The Speaker of Iran's Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has issued a stern warning to U.S. oil and gas companies operating in the region.
In response to statements made by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Ghalibaf threatened that if the U.S. attacks Iranian assets, they will face retaliation.
Ghalibaf pointed out that the region's oil and gas production chain is 'accessible and vulnerable', making U.S. companies operating there equally at risk.
The warning comes after Hegseth shared video footage of strikes on Iranian oil tankers, stating that if Iran targets American vessels, the United States will target Iranian tankers.
