Ghalibaf Warns: No Oil Sales Without Iranian Presence

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has made a bold statement regarding the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil trade. In a message republished on X, Ghalibaf warned that 'no one will be able to sell oil in a region where Tehran cannot.'

This statement comes in response to claims by US Central Command (Centcom) commander Admiral Brad Cooper that American forces had achieved full control of the Strait and halted Iran's oil exports. However, Ghalibaf disputed this claim, saying that 'the equation of this war is clear: either all or none!'

Ghalibaf emphasized that the security of the Strait lies in the absence of US troops, stating that 'if our security is not ensured, no infrastructure will be safe.'
