Crude oil prices have risen globally due to positive global trends. In India's futures trade, crude oil prices rose by Rs 106 to Rs 8,255 per barrel. Analysts attribute this rise to increased bets by participants in the futures market.

The September delivery of crude oil futures saw a 1.3 percent increase in 7,895 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading at $87.14 per barrel, up 1.61 percent. Brent crude prices also rose, reaching $91.75 per barrel in New York.

The recent rise in global trends has led to higher crude oil prices, with Brent crude being up 1.39 percent.
