Global Cues to Drive D-Street Next Week

The Indian stock market is expected to remain driven by global cues in the coming week. Investors will closely monitor the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, scheduled for July 28-29.

The Fed's policy meeting outcome will be a major focus, as it may impact investor confidence and influence market sentiment.

Corporate earnings from heavyweight companies such as Larsen & Toubro, Hindustan Unilever, Bharat Electronics, Adani Enterprises, Indian Railway Finance Corporation, and ITC will also remain a key factor to track. These companies are set to announce their April-June quarter results.

The benchmark indices declined sharply last week due to higher crude oil prices, renewed geopolitical tensions, and mixed corporate earnings. Banking stocks emerged as the biggest drag after a mixed Q1 FY27 performance.
