Global Gold Prices Plummet Amid Rising US Treasury Yields
Gold prices in Syria have dropped due to a global decline in bullion. According to the General Authority for Precious Metals Management, the price of one gram of 21-karat gold fell by 50 Syrian pounds on Tuesday from the previous day.
The selling price of 21-karat gold reached 16,100 Syrian pounds ($131.97), while the buying price stood at 15,800 pounds ($129.51).
In international markets, spot gold fell 1.8% to $4,369.24 an ounce by 1003 GMT, its lowest level since August 19.
