Global gold prices have experienced a sharp reversal in recent trading sessions, fluctuating within a range of $4,344 to $4,450 per ounce before retreating sharply to around $4,351. In contrast, SJC gold bars in Vietnam remained stable in price, with no adjustment despite the international market's decline.

The discrepancy has raised questions about whether SJC will adjust its gold prices downwards in line with global trends or if international gold prices will soon rebound.

On August 14th, BTMC VRTL decreased by as much as 600,000 VND/ounce, while BTMC SJC increased by 500,000 VND/ounce. This indicates that the domestic market has not yet formed a unified trend.
